Frozen Japanese Melon. Garnished with real gold, white chocolate and berries. One of the most uniquely delicious desserts I’ve ever had.

Sauteed Brussel Sprouts from my CSA. Cooked with bacon fat, fresh garlic and salt. So pretty.

Leg of lamb. Fresh rosemary, oregano, and garlic cloves. Thanksgiving 2011.

The biggest duck eggs I’ve ever seen, holding 2 yolks each— twins!

Steak tips and mutant squash! (or, “gourd”, to be politically correct)

Marrow bone!

Pumpkin cheesecake with a crushed pecan and almond meal crust (photo and cake by Francesca DeCapita).

The Meatza Experience with a ground turkey crust, topped with bacon, pepperoni, sauteed mushrooms, onions, roasted red peppers, olives, mozzarella, cheddar, and parmesan. Get it!

Baked brie in apple and pears (with cinnamon on top!)

Homemade turkey burgers with sauteed onions, garlic, and fresh parsley (prepared 25 minutes ago after getting home around 8 PM). Yes— you have time to make dinner! ;)

Picked up a few goodies to share with my boo this weekend! Basque sausage, blue cheese, cow’s milk, sheep’s milk, and goat’s milk cheese (not shown: wild boar bacon and honey comb— you really think I could forget about these?).

9/16 Rhode Island: Cajun swordfish with baked sweet potato and homemade maple honey-walnut butter.

More slow-cooked goodness— ribs with homemade sauce and spaghetti squash.

Slow-cooked chicken wings with homemade buffalo yum sauce! (click photo for redirection to our recipe)

We love brunch.. and meat.
